420 Rebels was started by a stabby Australian woman whose name was Mary Jane! Don't believe me? You should, because if you don't she will find you and you will be stabbed! IYKYK! We started as a group of strangers playing a weed game on our phones. In the beginning all communication was about the game in the game. But over time we began to talk more about real life and less about the game and found an app that everyone use to communicate more effectively. It worked. It was amazing. Even though we were miles apart it worked! And we solved our problem. WE LOVED CANNABIS but were plagued by its stigma and the game was a way for us to connect with others who shared our love of cannabis while maintaining our lively hoods. Members came and left on a regular basis, but a core group always kinda stuck together. We stopped playing the game and began building real relationships. Even though there was a revolving door of people, the group still grew! And as it did I, Dolo, could not stop thinking about this scene from Half Baked! That's who we were. A bunch of people with our own personal reasons for consumption (or support of consumption), feeling isolated due to the stigma of cannabis. Not anymore! 420 Rebels has become a community for all who openly (or secretly) want to share their love of cannabis.
